Off a few feet wouldn't be bad, but roads are yards off. One nearby road is 69 yards wrong!
The worst is there are roads that don't exist! There is a meandering (over a mile long) road through my whole property (350 acres). There has never been a road there and I have topo maps going way back and deeds back to the 1700's. They have no idea where it came from and told me to report it. Goes right through one of my ponds! No way to fix it except load another map! The readings are correct because I've used it side by side with my old Etrex Vista. I'd hate to have to rely on this thing to get me somewhere. Streams and other landmarks are accurate. They should provide all of us with topo maps and junk theirs!

This unit gets 7 satellites while IN my house! No dropouts in the woods so far- even in heavy cover. This thing Rocks! Loaded with features. I can even put it on my track bike and get lap times- COOL! Put it through its paces in the desert over the weekend on my off road bike. Performed flawlessly.

This has a great screen! And is easy to figure out (without reading the instructions) with just a few minutes of play. I have yet to get lost. The sound is good and loud and clear. The picture is clear and even tells you your speed accurately. The screen is actually a bit large for my car so I have to keep it next to me instead of on the dash.

This item is advertised as Mac compatible, but it was not compatible with my Leopard 10.5.8 Operating System. After downloading files a Customer Service Representative sent, I was able to initialize the uPro and download 4 courses after paying $120 for 50 courses. I took the device out to play the next day, but turned it off after a couple of holes because it didn't offer any information that I didn't already have on the Cart's GPS Screen. As I was leaving the course, I tried to turn it back on to show a friend. It was dead. So, I immediately returned it to Amazon. However, uPro is refusing to refund the 4 courses that I downloaded, so I am in a Credit Card Dispute with them, which I will easily win since the information was never used and I returned the device. My first impression was great product. After using for two trips the flaws are coming out. First, the base map is so basic it's not usable as a handheld should be used out of the city and on the trail. Plan on spending nearly 100.00 to upgrade maps and use the Etrex. Secondly, the toggle/enter button protrudes out so far that it is accidentally hit a lot. Produst does seem durable and I hope I grow to like it. Garmin does make great products for the car. I guess I was expecting a NUVI type GPS in my handheld.
